Event Brief: 

This competition showcases the artistic talent of amateur fashion designers through the creation of Filipino inspired formal attire for male and female using indigenous fabrics inclined towards its functionality, wearable and commercial viability.

Who can Participate:

  • Designer should be currently enrolled in the school he/she represents;
  • Models must also be students who are currently enrolled in the school he/she represents;

Requirements to qualify for the final round: Final Date of Submission 
  • Fully filled up online  registration form

(Date of registration will be the basis of “first come first served” basis for the eight finalists)

  • Design (Sketch) with brief description
  • Brief CV of the Designer and Photo
  • Photo of the model
  • Fabric swatch
  • School Registrar certificate that the participant  is a  bonafide student currently enrolled in the school
  • High Resolution School Logo

Fashion designer should be present during the completion. Failure to submit the above requirements on or before the scheduled date is ground for cancellation of participation.

Mechanics

• Model of the designer should be able to wear and walk on the ramp in front of the judges during the event date;
• Hair, Make and accessories to be provided by the designer.

Gown and Suit

  1. Fabric (25%)
    Locally produced fabrics made from indigenous materials.
  2. Design(25%)
    Distinctly Filipino design and creation that reflects our lifestyle, beliefs, and customs, highlighting the artistry and pageantry of Philippine fashion.
  3. Execution (25%)
    Functionality and wearability of the entry design.
