The Annual Christmas Ball of PHILTOA, held last December 04 2014, at the Rigodon Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila was a night of glitz and glamour as expected. Members walked the red carpet and was met by the paparazzi clicking of lights and music,  as they proceeded to the open garden for a pre-dinner cocktail. Perking up the Yuletide  spirit, Christmas carols were rendered by the San Juan de Letran Choir, 2014 champion of the eco-chorale completion during the 25th Philippine Travel Mart.
The occasion premiered the showing of “Visit the Philippines Year 2015- the Movie, featuring the exciting teasers of the  Islands Philippines Fun Caravans 2015. The awarding of the first PASMA (PHILTOA’s Anik Anik at Sari-saring Mukha  Award) brought the house down as individual awards for  Best actors and actress’ in dramatic, comedy and action pictures were awarded, Hollywood style.
A sumptuous Christmas banquet, served by the Peninsula was a real feast.
The night was capped by bidding out the gift certificates donated by PHILTOA’s friend in the industry, which generated Php 113, 000.00. The proceeds  plus additional fund provided by the PHILTOA Foundation were used to provide joy to the indigents in house residents of the Missionary for the Poor during the yearly Christmas Treat held last 22 December 2014.
