BagsAndGO Travel Services started as a homebased travel agency on October 8, 2017 in Bacoor, Cavite. It is a sole proprietorship owned by Ms. Gloria Gambalan-Bagnol, a retired College Professor. When she retired, Ms. Bagnol wanted to have her own restaurant business at first, but because of her family’s fondness to travel, she ventured into tourism and travel business instead. With the help of her family, Ms. Bagnol was able to come up with the company name-BagsAndGO Travel Services. Her husband and children are fondly called “Bags” by their colleagues and friends, short for their family name, Bagnol. Bags also mean “luggages” which travelers bring when they travel. For easy recall, they just added the word GO to signify action and activity/travel and the idea resulted to “Pack your Bags and GO Travel” which became the company tagline. Young as it is but BagsAndGO is gearing to focus on its niche market which are family, corporate and pilgrimage clients. They already have reputable direct travel partners for domestic and international travels. They also have affiliations with Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), Society of Independent Cavite and Allied Travel and Tours (SICATT) and Network of Independent Travel Agencies (NITAS). Aside from its DOT Recognition, BagsAndGO was also awarded as No. 1 Reliable Travel and Tours Services Provider by 1st Philippine Buyers’ Choice Awards 2019, Most Outstanding Affiliate by SMB Travel 2018 and Top 20 Producers for 2023 by Funtreats Travel and Tours 2024. Ms. Bagnol is also a graduate of DTI/Go Negosyo KMME-MME Multi-sectoral Batch 2021.
